Since a KDE/Plasma 5.x update a long time ago I had the problem that changing „File type options“ (what program is used to open a specific file type) in Dolphin didn’t work anymore.
I could change everything but the moment I closed and opened the „File type options“ properties again it was reset to default.
systemsettings5 -> Power Management -> Energy Saving -> in all three tabs at the bottom: :)
Finally the ability of the clock/calendar widget to display your PIM events came back in the latest update of KDE/Plasma :)

To be able to see your events you must enable the PIM events plugin for your widget.
Several weeks ago a new and very annoing bug appeared on my laptop using KDE Plasma 5. After logging in the I could see this for around 20 to 30 seconds:
On my desktop I use kwallet as a password store for the Chromium web browser.
When I changed the master password for my current wallet few days ago I ran into a problem…
While the new password was accepted for all other apps requesting login credentials from the wallet I needed to enter the old password when starting Chromium.
Die 0.9-Version von KDE-Connect gab es schon eine Weile für Android; jetzt wurde zumindest in Arch Linux auch das Paket für den Desktop aktualisiert.
Man konnte zwar auch die alte Version auf dem Desktop mit der neuen auf Android in Verbindung bringen, wenn man das Modul in Plasma manuell geladen hat mit:
qdbus org.kde.kded /kded loadModule kdeconnect
Jedoch fehlten dann einige Funktionen und es gab keinen Eintrag im Systray.
Hatte kürzlich hier grun als Alternative zu krunner vorgestellt, aber heute das bessere gmrun gefunden :)
Die bisherige Möglichkeit, Icons im Systray von Plasma 5 anzeigen zu lassen, die nicht mit SNI kompatibel sind, hat bei mir leider nicht funktioniert und so fehlen diese Icons seitdem auf meinem Desktop.
Mit dem neuen Ansatz mittels „xembed-sni-proxy“ funktioniert es hingegen.
Eines meiner Probleme unter Plasma 5 ist das Starten von Anwendungen mittels krunner. Alle Plugins bis auf „Commandline“ sind hier deaktiviert und trotzdem rattert die Festplatte jedes Mal, wenn man krunner nutzt.
Mir ist erst kürzlich aufgefallen, dass meine eigenen Einträge für das Service-Menü (das bei Rechtsklick auf eine Datei/ein Verzeichnis) in Dolphin seit dem Update von KDE 4 auf Plasma 5 fehlen.
